Class will be held Sunday, April 27th from 3-6PM at Trade Oak Cliff (1300 S Polk St. Suite #246) We are located in the interior of Tyler Station and you will enter 3 doors down from Oak Cliff Brewery.

In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn painting and carving methods to design a travel tumbler. We will cover sgraffito techniques and review the properties of underglazes in the class. All tumblers will be glazed clear and will be dishwasher and microwave safe upon pickup. To do sgraffito, pieces have to be at just the right dryness. This means your teacher will make the base of the clay tumbler earlier in the week by hand so it is ready for you to paint and carve in class.

Price includes all materials and firing services. We will email 2-3 weeks after class with pickup instructions once pieces have been fired. Please carefully read the parking details in your order confirmation email prior to class.

Shipping available: Tell your teacher at the end of class that you’d like to have your pieces ship. $22 covers shipping and handling of 1-2 mugs to the same address, $30 for up to 4 mugs to the same address. We will show you payment options in the studio and will text a tracking number once we have sent your package.
